Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments similar to those completed by new hires or summer interns. However, unlike traditional internships, Micro-Internships can take place year-round, typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work, and projects are due between one week and one month after kick-off. Micro-Internships enable Career Launchers (college students and recent grads) to demonstrate skills, explore career paths, and build their networks as they seek the right full-time role. They are used by companies as large as those in the Fortune 100, or as small as emerging start-ups, and they extend across departments, including sales, marketing, technology, HR and finance.
