ACI Micro-Internships by Parker Dewey

Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments similar to those completed by new hires or summer interns. However, unlike traditional internships, Micro-Internships can take place year-round, typically range from 10 to 40 hours of work, and projects are due between one week and one month after kickoff. Micro-Internships enable career launchers (college students and recent graduates) to demonstrate skills, explore career paths and build their networks as they seek the right full-time role. They are used by companies as large as those in the Fortune 100, or as small as emerging start-ups, and they extend across departments, including sales, marketing, technology, HR and finance.

Students from ACI-member colleges and universities can apply for Micro-Internships at any time. Micro-Internships are facilitated via the Parker Dewey platform, making it easy for companies, schools and students to benefit from the program, as there are no administrative barriers. ACI/FORVIS Micro-Internship Project by Parker Dewey

To help raise awareness of micro-internships among students attending ACI's member colleges and universities, FORVIS LLP sponsored the ACI | FORVIS Micro-Internship Scholarships in Spring of 2023. Students from each participating school that applied for at least four Micro-Internships or secured one Micro-Internship were eligible for the scholarships. A total of 18 scholarship recipients were selected by financial aid staff from various campuses.
