Northern Virginia Community College Micro-Internship Program:

Funded Projects for NOVA Students

Northern Virginia Community College’s Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments that are similar to those given to new hires or interns, offered by employers for current NOVA students studying in the division of Languages, Arts, and Social Sciences (LASS).

WHAT: Projects are professional opportunities and require roughly 20 or 40 hours of work by the student.

COST: For this program, you can work with two eligible students at no cost to your organization.

TIMELINE: Projects will be posted throughout the 2024-2025 Academic year beginning in October 2024.

HOW TO GET STARTED: All opportunities will be posted on and student payment will be processed through our Micro-Internship partner, Parker Dewey.
