What are UD BlueHensWork Micro-Internships?

The University of Delaware (UD) supports UD students and Delaware organizations by providing micro-internships which are short-term, paid, remote projects. These projects provide professional experiences and skill development for UD students and support local organizations. The Micro-Internships are funded through micro-grants offered by the Career Center at $600 for a 40-hour project or $300 for a 20-hour project.

Students that are enrolled in the UD Undergraduate and Associate of Arts programs are eligible for BlueHensWork Micro-Internships.  Projects can begin at any time, and students are selected through a competitive process by the organizations who posted the Micro-Internship opportunity.

UD BlueHensWork Micro-Internships are facilitated via the Parker Dewey platform, and these opportunities will be found under the "Featured" section once you have created a Parker Dewey account.  Parker Dewey lists many additional Micro-Internships which are funded by the organizations which offer them, and you are encouraged to take advantage of those opportunities, as well.

If you need to chat with a UD Career Center team member for additional advice, please email tmulveny@udel.edu.
