While we were focused on just getting some help on a project, we quickly realized that the student was incredible, and ultimately hired her as a summer intern. We saw her work ethic and skills, and got an inside track on hiring her.
With so many of our students impacted by COVID-19, we are partnering with Parker Dewey as the platform for engaging highly-motivated William & Mary students (Career Launchers) on short-term, professional projects, also known as Micro-Internships.
Since Micro-Internships serve as a bridge to future employment, we hope you will consider posting your paid opportunities. See below for sample projects you may customize.
Or, use the form (right) to submit your questions to Parker Dewey’s Client Success Team. They are glad to assist you with outlining the scope of work, helping clarify needs, and determining essentials such as budget and timeline.
Note: Registration is required and there is no posting fee. Students receive 90% of the payment while Parker Dewey retains the remaining 10% to cover expenses.
You can have any of these projects completed by a current student or alum, making it easy to give back and stay productive. Clicking the project name will take you over to the Parker Dewey platform and allow you to make edits before posting your project request. You can also use the form above to connect with the Parker Dewey team about a custom request or to ask any questions.

What are Micro-Internships?
Micro-Internships are short-term, professional assignments that are similar to those given to recent college grads or interns. Not only is this a great way to support our students, but it also provides immediate support and complements your organization’s campus recruiting efforts.
While we were focused on just getting some help on a project, we quickly realized that the student was incredible, and ultimately hired her as a summer intern. We saw her work ethic and skills, and got an inside track on hiring her.
This is the 'anti-staffing firm.' I set the price for the assignment, picked who I wanted, and when I decided to hire her, there were no fees.
Not only did the Career Launcher shine, he excelled. He took the brand to a new level and challenged our group to think outside the box. Could not have been more pleased or grateful for the opportunity to work with this motivated individual. It's all about opportunity and Parker Dewey gives students exactly that. I look forward to our next project!
The short-term nature makes it easy for you to leverage Micro-Internships, while allowing college students to complete assignments around their schedules.
