Research and compile information on suppliers that could be valuable partners. The suppliers you will research should be tied to our specific sustainability initiatives.

Best Practices for Implementing Sustainability Initiatives

Assist in the development of a best practices manual for implementing sustainability initiatives. Identify between 10 and 20 thoughtful articles that highlight the importance of sustainability, best practices, and challenges when best practices are not implemented. Summarize key points across the articles in a single document.

Developing Sustainable Manufacturing Standards

Help with the development of specific global manufacturing frameworks and standards tied to sustainable manufacturing.

Here's how:

Micro-Internships are short-term, professional assignments that are similar to those given to recent college grads or interns. Beyond providing you with immediate support, they also complement Xylem's campus recruiting program and provide alternative pathways to professional roles in our organization.

These remote, flexible, paid projects also enable diverse early-career candidates (including first-generation college students, student-athletes, and even professionals working while completing their degrees) to participate, even when our standard internship doesn't fit into their existing commitments.

Projects typically require 10-40 hours and can be bundled to create a longer-term experience.
Each project has a discrete deliverable, making it easier for managers and Micro-Interns to evaluate outcomes.
Micro-Internships are available year-round, as needed.
