Put your SkillsBuild training to work on a Micro-Internship.

Getting Started

When you are launching your career, Micro-Internships provide a tremendous opportunity. You can work on interesting projects all while building your resume and GET PAID!

But first:

  1. Create/Update your resume. 
  2. Create an account on Parker Dewey via the link above.
  3. Add IBM SkillsBuild as an Affiliation in your profile.  If you have not attended a college/university, list IBM SkillsBuild in the Education section of your profile.  
  4. Complete your profile.  Be sure to upload your resume into your profile.
  5. Apply to the project that relates to your SkillsBuild training

If there are other projects that interest you on the Parker Dewey profile, you are welcome to apply to those as well.  They are all real projects designed to help emerging professionals launch their careers.

On the Job at Your Micro-Internship

You will receive an email when you are selected for your Micro-Internship. At that time, you should: 

  1. Email your project supervisor to set up a time to connect real-time to discuss the project.
  2. Sign up for Parker Dewey's payroll system. The link is provided in your congratulations email.
  3. Return to your IBM SkillsBuild training if you need assistance with your project. Complete the project to the best of your ability.
  4. Complete the project by the deadline(s) that you and your project supervisor identify.
